A critically-acclaimed and award-winning actor, Tom Malloy most recently starred in the thriller Trauma Therapy opposite Brian Krause (Charmed) and Chase Coleman (The Originals). Prior to that, Malloy starred in the found footage horror/thriller #Screamers, which was in theaters via Dread Central in 2018.
Concurrently, Tom is starring with comedian Scott Baker in the Amazon improv comedy series Midtown, which initially premiered at the L.A. Comedy Festival. In its second season, the show averages 70,000 views per month. Tom is a graduate of the famous Improv Olympic (I.O.) Training Center in Los Angeles.
As a stand-up comic, he’s appeared at Caroline's Comedy Club and the Broadway Comedy Club in NYC, the Funny Bone in Syracuse, NY, and at the LA Improv.
Previous roles include the lead male role opposite Ray Wise in the drama Shattered (currently out on VOD through Cinedigm); and Hero of the Underworld, directed by John Vincent, starring Malloy, Nicole Fox and Quinton Aaron, which has garnered three Best Actor awards for Malloy. Additional feature credits include: Fair Haven, directed by Kerstin Karlhuber, starring Tom Wopat and Michael Grant; Ashley, directed by Dean Ronalds; the romantic comedy Love N’ Dancing, directed by Rob Iscove (She’s All That), starring Amy Smart, Malloy, Billy Zane, Rachel Dratch, and Betty White; the psychological thriller The Alphabet Killer, directed by Rob Schmidt (Wrong Turn) starring Eliza Dushku, Cary Elwes, Malloy, Timothy Hutton, Michael Ironside, and Oscar-winner Melissa Leo; and The Attic, a thriller directed by Mary Lambert, starring Elisabeth Moss and Malloy.
Tom is a highly experienced ballroom dancer, having trained directly under 12-time Swing Dance World Champion Robert Royston.
